I think I’d consider Generations to be apocryphal, especially since Gene Roddenberry regarded aspects of the previous 2 movies to be apocryphal and I think he’d have done the same to that one. Also because Kirk acts very out of character in my opinion, as though he was de-arced from all his previous development.
