I’m so relieved that all of Star Trek made after TOS has ignored Janice Lester’s statement that Starfleet doesn’t allow women as captains, not only because the idea of that being the case in the 23rd century is ridiculous but because we otherwise wouldn’t have all the awesome women captains and admirals from before that point in the timeline like Hernandez, Georgiou, Cornwell, Batel, V’Rel, etc.

i'm glad I'm not the only who doesn't like Tom Paris. I don't hate him and he does have his moment. I don't find him nice and he's very self centered.
