My genuine biggest pet peeve in fanfiction is when people make it so that In-ho doesn’t have a choice in orchestrating the games. Like, I know you like the character and you don’t want him to be irredeemably evil, but no he really is that bad. No, he really does help organize the mass slaughter of 455 people every year for fun. There’s no reason they would have him manage the games if he showed any hesitance to do so- if he didn’t want to, there are plenty who would happily take his place. The masked officer, for example. Every vile and wicked choice he’s made is his own, and I find him way less compelling as a character if he was being coerced into doing what he does honestly.

Dear beautiful black kpop fans, please, please, please don’t let the ideals of random people across the ocean(s) dictate how you feel about yourself. They themselves are miserable because of their ridiculous standards. And don’t internalize their colourist opinions either.
