AH! I’m less than a week out from my classes starting!
Now I’m starting to get nervous and doubt myself, but I’m so ready to begin! I feel like a complete mess, but I’m honestly as prepared as I’m going to get.
I’ve got my new custom dot grid notebook in, and I wanted to take a picture of some supplies. My kitten, Salsa, wanted in on that action as well!
My journal is an 8.5 by 11 dot coiled dot grid notebook from Erin Condren, I designed the cover myself. The note book has 120 pages, and is made of pretty decent paper. I do have some bleed through from time to time, but I haven’t found another that meets my needs quite like this does!
Supplies:
Notebook-Custom Notebook - $25
Brush Markers - Huhuhero Duo Tipped Watercolor Markers set of 24 -$17.98
Fineliner pens - Arteza Fineliner Pens set of 72 - $20.98
Washi Tape- non brand, less than a dollar from Wish
Studyblr, meet Mugsy. He’s my very good boy and sometimes has been my only reason to wake up in the morning. He’s soft, cute, and sweet. He’s helped me learned to manage my mental health and reminds me to take care of myself, since I have to take care of him.
On that note; I know a lot of you have already started school (I have less than two weeks before I start! So excited!) and I just want to give you a quick reminder to check in with yourself. Really take the time to assess how you’re feeling physically and emotionally. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in all the activity in our lives that we forget self care. So, take your meds, hydrate, brush your teeth, take a shower, eat some veggies, rest up! Taking care of yourself is the best way to bring your A game!
-You’ve got this!!!
My classes started this past Monday.
I don’t understand why people act like online classes aren’t as hard as regular classes. After one day I had six assignments, all due this week. Oh well, it’s good to be learning again.
This is this week’s spread, obvs featuring my usual struggles with picture quality. These succulent stickers are from a shop on Etsy called StickerDoodle, cute yeah?
Hope classes are going well for everyone else!
Y’all.
Let me tell you, it is HARD to get good pictures when everything you have is subpar. My phone is a Walmart cheapy & the computer I use to upload is a busted work computer... I have no idea how these pics are going to show up for everyone.
Such a shame, because I was pretty proud of the spread! I found some sticky notes at Target to track water intake and I made a peek-a-boo grid for tracking weather, sleep and steps. I have an area for my weekly task dump since my bosses like to randomly drop projects on me, and an area for said projects to carry on into next week. My weekly layout is extremely basic because I need the room for tasks.
I’m struggling to make this wide ruled, weirdly sized notebook a decent bullet journal. Without the dot grid, I find it very difficult to do proper layouts and honestly I feel like I need a letter sized notebook. I’m also still trying to let myself be creative with my spreads (this is probably the most “free” I’ve been with a design since I started using a bujo as a planner)
Supplies:
Notebook- George Stanley 8.75 x 10.75 Wide Rule -Found at TJ Maxx
Sticky Notes, Donut sticker, Gold Washi Tape - Found at Target
Fineliners and Markers - Amazon, sorry I don’t remember the brand but they were cheap!
Sorry Y'all
It's been forever since I've posted anything original or hell, even maintained my queue. The past quarter really wore me down and this one is worse. They scheduled me for five classes ( yes one is a half quarter but damn) knowing full damn well I work full time. Since the quarter started I haven't gone to bed before 1am and I'm still playing catch up. I honestly got a lot on my plate and the one thing I could really let slip was the blog.
I'm going to try and fix up my queue over the weekend so at least it doesn't look like I've abandoned it.
Tldr; still here,still studying
1.19.18 Stayed home from work today with either the flu or a fucking kick-ass cold. Still had to work a bit though. Anyway here's my bullet journal spread for this week.
