Me: Ugh I have zero confidence that Kinberg will do the Dark Phoenix story justice, what with his spotted history of terrible plot contrivances (fridging! multi-decade jumping but everybody looks about 5 years older than they did in FC! Erik is always making bad decisions that make no sense! Raven's characterization is all over the map!), lazy symbolism in lieu of actual advancement of relationships (just throw in more giant X's and chess scenes!) and tragically embarrassing dialogue ('Wreak Havoc!' anyone?).

Someone not in the X-Men Fandom: Can't wait for Marvel to reboot the whole franchise and do it right! Fox has done a terrible job with the X-Men! It's time to return them to the MCU where they belong!
