I told you to check out blogs who DO engage in such discussions. I'm not sure why you are so resistant to researching why men created porn and its effects that lead to the normalization of kink, which you posted about. Understanding the root cause of these things helps to then form opinions, which is why I was asking yours to begin with; only to realise you actually had no understanding of the root cause of kink development.

I became snarky because I realised that I was discussing with someone who had no idea of the basics of why one is anti-kink to begin with and how you asked me for sources on something you originally posted about. Like it or not, males created pornography AND the formed the kink sphere itself.

Be nuanced about eating whip cream off your partner or whatever, IDGAF. But don't pretend that these ideas exist in a vaccum and weren't influenced by males.

you are a strange and inflammatory individual who has not actually addressed what i was talking about in any meaningful way. you took my corrections to your misunderstandings and request for a source on your hyperbolic claims to be some sign that i'm actually in denial about the link between porn and kink.

there COULD have been proper conversation on the link between these two, there was plenty of room for that discussion. my point was "i don't think the concept of kink (in the sense of unusual sex is inherently harmful, but i'm disgusted by the abusers who use the label". i'd be glad to hear from someone with a differing view on why they think that maybe the concept can no longer be claimed in good conscious because of its harmful connections... provided that person was informed and knew how to engage with others.

instead you come on to my post, say a bunch of dishonest ignorant nonsense, refuse to address what i actually respond with, and then throw your hands up acting like i'm ignorant for pointing out that you're being rude and haven't actually addressed my point. if you don't want to talk about this, then don't, if you DO (why else would you have written this ask), then actually learn how to engage in discussion. because as it is right now, you're making an ass of yourself.
