On the topic of Aizawa X Reader fics, I think it has gotten better as of late but unfortunately some fics still are plagued with the tropes of him referring to the reader as any variant of “kitten”🤢 or the reader having some cat related quirk, give it a rest i beg

I often wish BL fanfic writers didn't so drastically change characters. Like I understand a few personality changes here and there, but to completely change the character/person?

An example of this is this ss of this one person describing Phuwin:

Like I get Pond is taller but like... dawg... Phuwin is 5'11 and very well toned....

Also, the fact that gays, specifically "bottoms," are written to be soft, gentle, babyish girly twinks pisses me off. There is nothing wrong with being a twink, but like... how is that(previous ss) even remotely close to this:

Why can't we just accept gay bottoms are not always gonna be high-pitched, dress/skirt wearing, thick thighed, skinny young men.💔

Also, the fact that "innocence" is seen as the best thing ever in these stories is really creepy, imo.

•Hoppers suicide attempt barely being brought up

•Mike and Nancy not talking about Holly one on one

Probably more just can’t think of it right now

Edit: •mileven is dating but they suddenly aren’t allowed to kiss — not even a quick peck on the lips— after reuniting or say i love you. Like they have been kissing since they were 12 and Jane didn’t even know what a kiss was but now at 17 they can’t kiss?? And don’t get me started on the i love you shit because what do you mean s4 their whole conflict was about Mike not saying i love you and it’s not followed up into s5 with Mike saying i love you everytime they part!!! Hell when she went into the bath him saying a quick “i love you, be safe!” Would’ve done wonders for how little they interacted this season!

Watching FMAB on Netflix and found that the subs use “he” for envy, even though I’ve only heard あいつ and occasionally あれ, both gender neutral, in reference to them. I don’t know why I expected better from Netflix, but yeah.

Complaints

I'm treating my GD yeast infection with a super strict sugar free/low carb diet and now that the yeast doesn't have sugar feeding it, it starts releasing toxins when it dies off. The toxins make me feel like I have a combination of the flu and a hangover. Yesterday I had to cancel my haircut and my dogs grooming appointment because I felt so light headed and nauseated that I was worried I might pass out while driving. I'm also responsible for taking care of this baby solo while my husband is on a business trip and it suxxxx. It makes me wish I never moved away from home. I have no one here to back me up on parent duties when Jes is away. I also don't like feeling unwell in general, I get whiney and mopey and I would rather enjoy sleeping all day but I can't. I don't know how long I'm supposed to feel bad before I feel better but I hope it's soon. Fucking yeast infection!!!
