We be out here doing stuff... After having a way busy week: necessary family functions, work, guest at the house (which we love), individual appointments, work meetings and new duties at work... we met up Sunday evening to connect/re-connect, try a new restaurant, see each other's face alone and get realigned for the coming week. ....because Life can make us miss each other AND AND AND Love is Intentional. Do you feel lethargic when you wake up and would like to be able change the way you feel instantly? I certainly did at 4am, didn’t have my normal wake me up cold shower just splattered some cold water on my face and wrists. Went outside and just managed 11/2 sprints, came back indoors and went back to bed but really didn’t sleep got about 20 minutes rest. Thought it’s a mind over matter thing so I did at best 30 push-ups. Now was feeling deflated. Half my normal 60 however then surprised myself a couple of sets of burpees, squats then decided to go for a swim. Then it all went well for me. You see there’s a foolproof way to take on whatever fitness challenge no matter how lethargic you feel, albeit it takes a little courage. It is what I do every morning(except this morning LOL) When this video was taken it was my 4th ice cold shower making use of the pool’s sauna. Mixing heat and cold is supposed to be good for your muscles. Cold water may make positive changes to your brown fat. The water is so invigorating no matter how rough you feel the cold water will change your mindset positively and above everything you do want to make a conscious effort to improve your vitality. I knew when I got into the pool my muscles would object to anything too strenuous and my preferred stroke is Butterfly. It was just a case of pushing past my fatigued body because in reality it is my mind that is fatigued and invariably there is an alternative way. Within a few Olympic lengths and 45 minutes later I had done 26 lengths; followed by as fast and as powerful as I could until my arm muscles were throbbing three butterfly sprints. It was then I went into the sauna and did some yoga stretches repeating cold showers. On the way home I decided to do some handbalancing and calisthenics in my local park. The only downside it was now 9am and had to make myself a protein rich breakfast and the downside go back to bed for an hour.
