⭕️thoughts on magic

There’s no way not tell a half-truth about this so… here we go.When I started to actually do research on the occult and magic it was a pain in the arse to find resources without having to acquire money to get the books and materials. Magic itself can be a pain—even if you’ve been doing it for forever. It never gets old when a spell blows up in your face and you look like someone out of a steampunk novel without the fancy goggles.I particularly hate working cases alone. I don’t, but it helps if someone makes sure I’m getting sleep and all. Team-ups are the worst, especially if I’m stuck with people who don’t know a drop about magic. I don’t hate them, but the lectures are getting old people! I should probably give a magick basics class at some point. I hate being stuck training people because I have no clue how to work with the young'ins. Not you Dicky @robimeme , Australia was a wonderful training experience!And portals are my least favorite part! Portal sickness is the worst! Just the time when I ended up in this ‘verse… all the other portals have been smooth sailing… except for the ones that make me end up in hell—especially that one I’ve mentioned before.
