“I suppose I should apologise for keeping your father busy all day but his help is sometimes greatly needed.” Francis smiled slightly, hands clasped behind his back. “I am surprised that we haven’t met before now and I am very pleased to finally have the chance.”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t quite catch your name.” James said to the female, she wasn’t someone he recognized from the French Court.
How many children did Lord Narcisse have? The list seems never-ending, his children appearing as though from the woodwork into Francis and Mary’s lives to bring down what Catherine calls ‘ a cloud of locusts ’ –– Mary however, is not quite so convinced. She has to first meet Constance first in order to form an opinion.
“ Lady Constance, ” Mary calls, approaching from the far end of the hall. Those surrounding Constance bow as the Queen of France approaches, REGAL in a short crown of gold and silver. “ Welcome to French Court. Is this your first time here? ” Curiosity lifts her brows, a polite smile soft on her lips.

A smile was dancing on the dark-haired lady as she approached the other one. She wrapped her arms around Constance’s as they walked through the castle. Nicole had been quite busy during the last few days, & therefore she had not been able to spend much time with Constance.
❝ I am delighted to see you! It feels as if it has been an eternity since we spent time together. Tell me, how have you been ? ❞
Her smile was genuine, just like her enthusiasm at the prospect of spending time with the one she now considered as a sister.
