The contrast between Avar Kriss (as perceived by Elzar) and Avar Kriss (as perceived by Stellan) is so funny to me because these are the two people who know her and love her more than anyone else in the galaxy, but if you mention her name to them Elzar's like "she's the most wonderful, selfless, brave, strong, beautiful woman in the galaxy, she can do anything, she's never done anything wrong ever in her life"... meanwhile Stellan's like "ah yes, my favourite recurring headache (affectionate) - what the fuck has she done now, do I need to schedule an intervention?"
And like
They're both so right
Just thinking about how the Firebrands are basically a canon Jedi polycule and I will never, ever shut up about it.
The Firebrands are so Herongraystairs coded and I will die on this hill.
Elzar is 100% Will. Stellan is Jem, and Avar is Tessa.
They love each other so much but the three of them can't be together. A constellation of three
You can't have one of them without the other two, because they would not be who they are without each other
Stellan and Will haunting the narrative, smiling down when seeing their friends/lovers live and be happy together, waiting to be reunited with them
"In my worst moments, I've loved you. In my greatest grief and failure, I still loved you, and it didn't turn me down the wrong path—it's what got me back onto my feet."
Elzar/Avar/Stellan supremacy because looking after any one of these idiots is a two-person job
Reading the teaser from Temptation of the Force...
... and I'm not ashamed to admit that I damn near LOST IT when Elzar noticed how many buns Avar had bought.
