Perspective. That's what has lead me to create my brand around zerowaste and closed loop products. I believe in the future it should and will be illegal to sell products that are not closed loop. Why should makers be allowed to sell things that are not designed with the end of life in mind? The system is flawed, but it's moving in the right direction. If you're part of a community and consume resources, you can not afford to consume mindlessly anymore. It's irresponsible and disrespectful to our posterity and animal life. When you throw things away, where is away? I walk by this dumpster every morning and it's always filled with random shipping materials, office furniture,trash bags. Things people are thinking- "I'll throw this away, it's trash," but where is away? I use to assume I didn't need to think or worry because there was a system and that system would take care of it in the best way. Truth is the waste systems we have in the US are in need of help. We only do what is easy and low cost instead of what is best and sustainable for all.
