These cool little raised beds were a new addition this year. Not sure how long they’ll last but one season in they are still ok.

this may sound absolutely stupid buuuuut
can you grow a fruit tree in some sort of container?
I'm currently in a rental and I'd hate to start an apple/pear tree just to have to leave it :(
my plants are my babies
FIRST FIG

WOOHOO my 3-year old container fig (raised from a leafless 6" twig on the clearance rack at Home Depot) finally produced its first fig! I'm actually not a huge fig fan, but I wanted to try my hand at growing a "Bible garden," so I hope I get to eat it before some other critter does!
First key lime harvest of the year! Enough juice to fill one ice cube tray.
Just handling the key limes leaves my hands smelling like citrus heaven. 😍🥰
My beautiful key lime tree is putting in another amazing year. Margaritas here I come!!
Hi Mr. Lizard. You are very welcome here.
Overwinter citrus in the garage under constant artificial lights. They bloomed all winter and started fruit but none of them set. I was surprised!!
The sad remains of my macadamia nut tree. “Frost tolerant” my ass 🙄😔.
But she made it... so once the new leaves come in I’ll trim away the dead stuff and next year she’ll overwinter in the garage w the citrus.
Sorry beautiful. ❤️🤷🏻♂️
