You: “What if I lose you? If it doesn’t happen right here, then after the Cordon. What will happen with us?” Jake: “I want to be with you. Now and after this. So don’t let me run, okay? Whatever happens, don’t let me run and I won’t. I love you.”

Can I have a drabble on 56 with Jake Riley (containment)?
Jake Riley - “Don’t you dare die on me!”
“(Y/N)?”
You looked up at him. Your eyes were wide open and your nose was slightly red. “Don’t go anywhere near me, Jake, please…” You whispered and you lifted your hand up.
“What happened?” Jake froze and he shook his head. The veins in his neck were visibly beating and he licked his lips while he folded his hands behind his head. “WHAT HAPPENED?” He raised his voice and you stepped back, staring at the floor beneath your feet.
“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry…” You swallowed a few times and you stared at your hands and clothes covered in blood. “She was dying and she was so small and so tiny and…”
“No, no…” Jake stared at you, his fingers intertwined to prevent himself from touching you.
“She was only a baby, Jake! I couldn’t let her cry and die on her own! I just couldn’t let her lay there in that small glass bed with no one to look after her.” It was as if you only realised now what you had done. Not one second had you been thinking about your own safety, about your own health, about dying. You had heard the baby crying and you had seen the pain in her tiny big eyes and you had not been able to fight the instinct to lift her up, to press her to your chest.
“Don’t you dare die on me!” Jake stared at you and he locked his eyes with yours. “You were the only good thing that has happened to me lately! I can’t lose you. I can’t lose you too!” He started to walk back and forth through the hallway. His fist slammed the wall and he shouted when he almost broke a few bones.
You felt your heart racing in your chest while you watched him. After watching a small and vulnerable baby die in your arms, you just accepted that you would die too. Maybe everyone in the cordon would die anyway.
“I’m gonna talk to Cannaerts. He has to fix this. He has to make that cure, that vaccine, whatever. He has to make sure you don’t die.”
“Jake!” You interrupted his rambling and you cocked your head while you stared at him, at his despair, at his pain, at his worry. “Don’t leave me, please.” You shook your head. “Don’t go to Cannaerts, don’t go anywhere. He’s doing what he can, but I want to enjoy each and every second with you, even if you can’t touch me or kiss me or hold me.” You bent your head and avoided his glance.
“Give me one second, okay?” Jake lifted both his forefingers up before he disappeared. A few minutes later he came back. He wore one of those plastic blue suits and a helmet to cover his face. “You held that baby and now it’s time for me to hold you.” He rushed towards you and he wrapped his arms around your shaking body.
For the first time you allowed yourself to cry. “I didn’t want to die, I swear.” You whispered, tears rolling down your cheeks. “I didn’t want to leave you.”
“It’s okay, it’s okay.” Jake let his chin rest on your shoulder while he pressed you to his in plastic covered chest. “I wish I was the kind of person who would have done the same.”
Dating a really good looking cop
Stealing his cop clothes and wearing them around the house
Playing basketball with him and losing all the time
He loves annoying you
Him being kind of insecure about what you think of him, but you assuring everything is okay and you love him
Him being the first one to say “I love you”
Him protecting you when you’re in the Cordon
And you keeping him strong, with all the deaths around him
Trying not to touch eachother, but that being very difficult
Being afraid Jake wants to break up
But Jake telling you you’re all he has at the moment
Having a very good and trusting relation ship with him
You: “We’re trapped. Great.” Jake: “Hey, (Y/N). Apart from the virus I don’t think it’s that bad that we’re trapped.” (he smirks) “And what if you were still at home and I was here. We wouldn’t be together and I think that would make this situation a whole lot worse.”

Flustered
Requests: “Could you write about Jake walking in on his small (but not too small) chested crush when she gets out of the shower and he's really flustered and he just stares at her boobs like "Your breasts, they are small and cute. I like them." 😂 I just think that would be hilarious”
He couldn't help but think about the girl who made him nervous. Jake was never really nervous talking to girls he liked. But Y/N was something else. Something about how beautiful she was, her perfectly soft skin, the outfits she wore that seemed to express her personality. And boy was her personality something else, sass, funny, not afraid of anyone, stood for what she believed in. Jake could mentally note this for hours.
He thought maybe it was her pink lips that made him nervous. Or her wonderful, smooth voice that made him warm when she laughed. Maybe even something as little as having her nails painted a different color every other day. They had met in the cordon and he thinks that's where he started to feel something for her. That was the only time he had saw her panic and she latched onto him, being the big protective cop he was, he never let her stray too far away.
Co-Worker
Requests: “Jake Riley 2,3,4 from the prompt list😍😍” Prompt List
"If you keep watching and getting angry its only going to spur her on." Another officer whispered to Y/N. "She flirts with all of us here. But lately she's had her eye on your Jake." Just that sentence alone made Y/N fume. It wasn't the officer's fault for telling her. No she wanted to fight that stupid...beautiful blond haired officer. "If it makes you feel any better, Jake doesn't give into her."
Y/N swallowed the anger down and crossed her arms. "You know I come to give him his lunch like once a week. And its like she knows. And when she knows shes always touching his shoulder or pressing her hand to his cheek." She was pretty sure her face was red. She probably looked like that angry emoji.

Anonymous said: If you are still willing to do a part 2 for A Bump in the Road maybe you could write about Jake finding y/n and telling her he found the pregnancy test and then they talk things through and hopefully there's a happy ending.
Anonymous: Bitchhhhhhh I need a part 2 for bump in the road ASAPPPPP :)
Hey guys! Since I have gotten numerous requests for a part two to Bump In The Road, I decided I’ll go ahead and do it. But guys, please keep in mind that if I do write sad/ angst imagines, there won’t always be a part two. Not all stories have happy endings, please respect that.
Part 1
It’s been 7 months since Jake had last seen you, each day that passed made him more regretful than the last.
Jake’s dreams were filled with nothing but your broken face and slouched form as you left him. He knew you were still in the city, he just didn’t know where.
Jake stared at the laptop screen, his eyes blood shot from the lack of sleep. A large coffee with extra cream and sugar was in his hand as his mind wandered off.
“So.” A deep voice broke Jake from his thoughts. He looked up to see his co worker, Lex Charnahan. Jake studied Lex’s features, seeing how he stood tall with his arms crossed as he peered down at him knowingly. “Are you looking for her?” Jake nodded.
“You’re lucky she loves me enough to keep in contact with me.” Lex chuckled deeply.
Jake stood from his seat quickly, nearly tipping his coffee over. “You know where she is?”
Lex nodded. “She’s downtown, look for the Village complex. She’s in apartment 469.”
Jake felt as if he could break out into a happy dance. He grabbed his phone, thanking Lex before running to his car.
Jake’s nerves were on edge. Excitement and fear mushed together in the bottom of his stomach as he parked out side your apartment. What if you didn’t want him back? What if his baby grew up without a dad. No. That couldn’t happen, he would fight for you.
Jake tapped his knuckles on your door frame, feeling slightly nauseous.
“Coming!” He heard your sing-song voice yell from behind the door. No more than a minute later your breath taking face evaded Jake’s eyesight.
“Hi.” Jake breathed, feeling his heart flutter at the sight of you. Your stomach had grown 10x bigger, your skin had this natural glow to it. You still were so beautiful.
You faltered from one foot to the other uneasy. “Hey.”
The tension was so thick, Jake wanted to be in your head right now, picking apart everything you were thinking. “Wanna come in?” You said, pushing the door further open. Jake nodded.
“Here.” You said handing him a cup of tea. “So I’m guessing you came here to talk.”
Jake nodded and sipped his tea. “I saw the pregnancy test.”
“I guess so.”
“I-I-I was so stressed, Y/N. So fucking stressed, and yes, I under stand that that’s no reason to just end things on the spot. Y/N, I love you, I love you so much. When you walked out that door, you took my heart with you. And when I saw that test-god- I hated myself. These past months have been hell, all i could think about was you and the baby, our baby. You... You don’t have to take me back, but please, just think about it.”
You smiled down at your cup, watching the little specs from the natural herbs float around. “I don’t have to think about it, Jake. Jake we belong together, I’ve known that from the first time you spilled water all over me.” You laughed at the thought. “I want you back, Jake. I want us to be a family.”
Jake jumped up from his spot on the couch, gripping you into a one crushing hug.
“Jake! Baby! Remember!” You squeaked out.
“Sorry! Sorry!” He laughed breathlessly. Jake peppered kisses all over your stomach. “I love our little family, so much.”
