i like ripping my hair, like it rips relatively easily cuz its kinda dry this time of the year and my hairs pretty thin. i've been doing it a lot more recently, its just really satisfying.

its not liek that one ocd type thing where its like trichotillomania or whatever . cuz thats with pulling. not ripping .

and again its not painful for me, i dislike the painful feeling of accidentally pulling a root. (doesnt happen often btw. ik the hair pulling is bad i just dont know about ripping) but yeah, so its not considered self harm !!! but my friends keep saying its bad for me . i do it a lot more when im stressed or wired . or bored as well. idk.

another thing i do is cutting it. cutting off little chunks of it . got a wee little bit nervous in class, (2 times today) so i went to the bathroom and cut off a lotta chunks of my hair and i was kinda panicking a little cuz i was like , worried if my parents will notice (i was choosing kinda awkward spots) my dad hasnt said anything yet, but my mom will definitely notice . cuz its very uneven and choppy .

i know that cutting hair definitely isnt harmful for you. what im wondering is the ripping part . any insight of this? i dont care about looks btw im just referring to like, health-wise.
