Continuous Connectivity
Matthew Wilson introduces a new concept continuous connectivity in his essay 'Continuous connectivity, handheld computers, and mobile spatial knowledge' an essay available open access until October 26, 2014 in Society and Space Journal. This concept analyses the emergence of a digital culture where people are always connected to a network, a sort of 'always-connected' culture, as written in the Society and Space journal.
This can be a very helpful concept to gain in understanding of the infrastructuralization of the world as seen in a series of books (and forthcoming books) such as the Keller Easterling's Extrastescraft (Verso Books, November, 2014), and essays including extractive activities and waste processing.
