A thick fog laid upon the chilled ground, the moon’s eerie, nearly golden light being the only true source of light in the nearly pitch black darkness of the night. Charles walked along the side of the road, enjoying the slight chill within the night time air, for it was chilly…but not so much so as to force one to retreat into their homes tonight.

He soon stopped, looking up at the star filled sky, looking towards the moon hanging high within it’s place in the heavens, soon taking in a single breath before releasing it, a line of smoke-like fog leaving his nostrils as he lets out a light sight of content.

Though…he began to have a strange feeling…a very…odd feeling…like he was being watched by someone…or something. He looked around, instinctively looking towards the house across from his own before he furrowed his brows, tilting his head when he noticed that the trouble maker wasn’t even out tonight, that being evident from the shine of the T.V.’s light shining in his living room.

He lowered his head slightly, soon looking over his shoulder before he heard a noise not too far from him. This caused him to spin around towards this sound, his gaze sharpened into a glare, squinting a bit as he tried to see what exactly made that noise. Soon enough he took the flashlight on his belt, keeping such a device on his person just in case it got too dark for him to see properly, and turned it on, shining it towards where he thought the noise came from before taking a single step forward cautiously.

Again. Again, he’d been locked in isolation.. Again and again, they did this to him.. Dragged him away from the others, held him down, gave him injections of tranquilizers and who knew what else.. And they cut him.. Tested him.. Tested things on him. But as he heard footsteps in the halls, he shuffled to the back corner and crouched there like a cowering animal, his tail curled at his ankles, as he glared defiantly at whoever would be opening that door, and hissed fiercely.

@contractsandsyringes Food. Food was always the first thing on his mind after a shift, to wolf or back, and it was no surprise. Changing one's entire bodily structure takes a lot of energy, and it doesn't come from nowhere. This meant it took quite a lot of restraint every full moon not to go apeshit on anything that moved. Ferde was pacing around a tree. It was his tree. He ate a squirrel on the tree right after shifting. It didn't help much. He was wondering when Josef would come with food, when he suddenly stopped and stood stock still. He smelled something that was new. Another wolf? He had possibly smelled traces before, but this strong of a scent meant the wolf was present in this forest. He should wait for Josef, but he wanted to see this wolf, and make it clear to them that this was his place and the other wolf needed to either make it clear he meant no harm or stay away. He looked in the general area of RED base, and not smelling Josef at all, stalked off to find this other wolf.
