Zines!
I was very excited to have made space on my Taroball Con table to include some zines in my set up! Back in the early days they were a mainstay in my set up but got phased out over time as I needed room for other things. But they still come with me to every con, just in case, and it was very nice to be able to set them out. I was also quite pleased to see that they were well received, so huge thanks to anyone who picked one up!
That being said, somebody took it upon themselves to liberate Bone Broth from my zine inventory. I’ve been doing cons for long enough now that I was probably overdue a con theft, however I would greatly appreciate it if whoever took it could either return it or pay for it! If you do feel the inclination to steal, turn that inclination towards corporations who turn over billions of pounds a year, and perhaps not towards me, if you please - I am on a low income, I live in charity housing, and I scrape by as best I can. I am not in a position to just let y’all have things that I spend a lot of time and effort on! I am more affronted with this one because it was a traditional zine and was my only copy :( If you did take it, I am not mad at you, just please reconsider the gesture? For any folks who wish to exchange currency for zines, some of my zines are on my ko-fi page and will periodically be with me at cons where possible.
