Today's thank you features my table from Taroball Con! I am incredibly pleased with how this came together given the time crunch to get set up, haha. Thank you to everyone who came to visit me at Taroball Con this past weekend, it was a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday! Thank you for grabbing something from me, and thank you to the folks who added to the tip line :) And finally thank you to Taroball Con organisers and volunteers for having me! A separate thank you post will be coming for the artists when I get around to posting my little haul, so please don't feel too neglected!!

Doki Doki Manchester - 9th and 10th September 2023

Saturday - Wei Wuxian as Yiling Patriarch (Mo Dao Zu Shi / Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) - handmade

Sunday - Jack Barbarossa Bancoran (Patalliro!) - closet cosplay but holy hell did I hunt for that shirt

This was the final Doki Doki! I'm going to miss this event, as they always had a cultural based programme with talks, demonstrations, films, and games to go with the merch and artist stalls. They even had an after party at a nearby pub.

Doki Doki Festival was an independent charity event for Aid for Japan. As the children they supported after the March 2011 Tsunami have grown up, they have achieved their goal in supporting them into adulthood and will no longer be organising this event.

The venue was a gym. It was boiling hot, but we had a lot of fun. Loved the contrast of being asked for a lot of photos as Wei Wuxian and not even receiving a single acknowledgement of my existence as Bancoran. But that's OK. It's probably for the best.

It's one of my favourite cons of the year this weekend!! Sunnycon in Newcastle, Friday-Sunday! I'll have couple of new Spiderverse things with me as well as some new ceramics and my beloved botanical dragons! Come say hi!!<3

So.....Crossroads 6 tickets just launched, I'm going to CR5 in Sept and my Gold ticket which gives me access to everyone and everything was about £230 I think. Alex, Mark P and Mark S, Timothy + several others so although I'll be avoiding Mark P, looking like good value.

CR6 will be having a new Diamond ticket and enhanced Gold...AT £1650 & £850 RESPECTIVELY!!!!!!!!

Now here's the thing. I missed Misha at CR3. The prices then were the £230ish.

Sooooo, you have to assume Jensen or Jared right????

Problem is that tickets are not refundable or transferable and I REALLY have no interest in meeting the big tall lanky really annoying one..don't like him, that's my personal opinion and I'm 56 years old and a granny/mum so that's my prerogative and not up for debate.

CR6 is in March, J2 are booked at Creation Cons beginning and end in US so either theoretically could attend CR6.

Yes, I know, here in the UK it is a RIDICULOUS amount of money BUT technically I'm retired and TECHNICALLY I could justify it....for Jensen. Diamond tickets include a special Saturday Meet and Greet BTW, that's obviously the huge draw....but what if it turns out to be ...well you know...the "other one..?!?"

What would you do in my shoes?????????
