Went to a stupidly expensive steakhouse in Minneapolis
I’m talkin $53 for a petite filet mignon that was only 6 oz. Now don’t get me wrong. That was some damn good steak. But FIFTY THREE SMACKAROOS for what was basically a morsel of a steak?? I knew what I was getting into when I picked up the menu but broo
And it didn’t even come with a side. The sides were separate. I paid like $16 to get a side of garlic mashed potatoes and THAT dish was way bigger than the steak itself was lmao
(also very good potatoes gotta say but WHAT ARE THESE PRICES)
Anyway. I was looking at the drink menu and I decided to order a glass of Sazerac. Entirely because that’s Alastor Hazbin Hotel’s favorite drink and I thought it’d be interesting
…it sucked 💜 But I kinda expected that, it’s literally just rye whiskey, absinthe, and simple syrup. And they put a lil lemon peel in there, idk if that’s a normal part of it or if they just did that for aesthetics, but. Yeah. It was very bitter, a lil sour. Not good. But cultured..
I feel like I understand Alastor a bit better now. He has terrible taste :)

btww I will once again be attending CONvergence in Minneapolis, Minnesota this year so on the slim chance any of y'all happen to be going as well, hit me up and we can hang out! or at the very least I can awkwardly say hi to you lmaoo
But if you want to guarantee you see me, I'm helping host a room party alongside a friend of mine, for the past few years we've been doing the same sorta party but just with slightly different themeing, and if you've been anywhere near the party rooms you probably heard us because his sound equipment is UNSPEAKABLY LOUD. We've been Outreach from a Vague Yet Menacing Government Agency. And we've been questionably Fallout themed. And other things. This year we're leaning more into Welcome to Night Vale. But as always, there will be booze, good ass music, and karaoke. So come find us at room 4121, Thursday through Saturday nights, 9 PM to 2 AM! (though we'll probably go later than that because we're night owls)
I'll be cosplaying as Cecil ehehe. Let's hope my voice is strong enough to do some good ass karaoke this year!!
