Conversat Committee Members Happily Married
When I read this email and saw that Conversat was returning after an almost 40 year hiatus, I just had to write and tell you what happened as a result of working on the Conversat 1975 Planning Committee. It was my graduating year and I decided that I should contribute to the University some how and so I volunteered on the committee. Who wouldn't since it consisted of about 8 females and two males!!! We actually met in the spring of 1974 and began working earnestly in SE of 1974. I took on responsibilities of music and business manager as well as working many hours with the prop and decorating team. It was a magnificent success as all will attest to. Tickets sold out, costs were recovered and I think some dollars went ahead. But it was even a bigger success for me personally, as I met my the woman I married, who was the chair of the Conversat Committee! We were married in Oct, 1975 and remain happily married ever after!! We plan on attending, along with at least one other 1975 Committee member. All the best in the preparations! Robin Pellett
The Girl I Love:

After that nothing happens but I was red like a tomato
excerpt...
this is an excerpt from a conversation with a friend. it is true and applies to life...it's my attitude towards it at this given moment.
what i mean is that, life is a take no prisoners kind of game, and i've learned to play it as such. i'll confront you if i have to, i'll tell you off if you deserve it.
you do what you have to to survive and make the best of it. certain relationships eventually need to be left behind and i'm willing to let them go. family is only blood. friends are more like family than a blood relation cause you get to choose people that will (hopefully) always have your back and are willing to put up with all the flaws in your character.
i'm scared of somethings and not others. i can only justify being scared or worried if due reason presents itself. i will confront people if need be, and i'll tell people off if they deserve it but there are some things that are hard for me to say. admitting i need help, or need to talk are two of those things. frankly, this world wasn't build for us to rely on each other and have everyone be ok with who we are and what our choices make us. this is me and it is my nature to think this way. this world allows us to form our own opinions, so please feel free to form your own and live life the way you wish. regrets are meant to happen, nobody does something without due cause.society shouldn't define us... These are my views, judge me on them if you wish, i don't care...or maybe i do, it's human nature isn't it.
