Found this commentary from Tappei on S1 ep 20 and apparently Conwood is the one whom returned Dragon Sword Reid to Wilhelm after the failed Whale Subjugation. That’s pretty neat to know.

I always did wonder just how the Sword was retrieved to be handed down to Reinhard.

Private room my ass. The more reputation a place has for being private, the more often there is some sort of secret bug or something planted in the room and the security of the room is just to prevent everybody else from listening in and ruining the establishments monopoly on gaining intel.

Silver Shield is a primarily knight serving bar in the Capitol that’s owned by Conwood? What neat lore to know. Y’know, it’s mentioned Conwood retired here due to an injury but I’m curious just what the injury was?

I guess Ik that dude was at least there during the Theresia Whale Expedition since he’s the guy whom returned the Sword back to the Astreas. So presumably he got injured on that Expedition then.

Also. Final thing but I see Conwood being all joking of Julius & Reinhard plotting something “evil” that would turn the kingdom upside down and like. I know this is meant to be tongue in cheek. Buuuuut.

I really do feel like Reinhard would be the kind of person to do something to turn the kingdom upside down (if he felt necessary) that would be viewed as nasty by others.

during season 4 of the anime tappei made some tweets that revealed some info etc when you finished certain parts of arc 6 can I give you the info that was revealed in tappeis tweets after the episode that encompassed those scenes had been released

I know sometimes Tappei does put interesting info into tweets after episodes like him casually in one of those tweets revealing Conwood was the one behind bringing the Dragon Sword back from the failed Whale Subjugation.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Tappei drops something casually important in one of the after tweets for S4 frankly…

I like seeing how Kurgan doesn’t only compliment people he considers great warriors but also people of discipline like Conwood despite the fact they don’t fit the traditional mold of power.
