Prongs rushed to Midnight's side and took in everything around him. Pandora's stride was much less purposeful as she went to stand beside Thalira on the opposite side of Moony. Midnight suddenly meowed loudly at Padfoot, who had bounded forward towards Moony.
Whatever Midnight had been trying to warn Padfoot about, it had been too late. Padfoot was flung backwards, hitting one of the birches and whimpering as he got to his feet, his front right held in the air as he limped forward again. Prongs blocked his way. Padfoot would take punishment over and over if it meant he could keep Moony safe; Prongs had to stop him.
“You may transform,” Thalira commanded. None of them moved. Then Barty fell forward to the ground, squeaking loudly until his human self appeared, panting and shaking.
Then they all crumpled to the ground. James could feel himself being ripped from Prongs. He tried to cling on, but it was no use. Prongs faded away and left James gasping in the grass.
“Padfoot!” Sirius wailed, clutching his hand to his chest, his wrist clearly broken. Thalira lifted her hand and waved it in his direction. Sirius screamed as a sickening crack echoed around the trees. He shakily raised his hand to his face and rotated his newly mended wrist. “What did you do to Padfoot?!” He yelled, jumping to his feet and storming towards her. She raised her hand again, but Sirius showed no fear and pressed on. Moony whined at Thalira’s side. She glanced down at the werewolf and lowered her hand.
“He is not far. I will release him when the time is right,” Thalia said in her raspy voice.
“No. He’s mine. Give him back now!” Sirius shouted. He fell to his knees, his head forced down until his forehead touched the earth. Moony growled, and Thalira lifted her magic. James ran to his side and helped him up.
“Stop talking, Sirius,” he begged. Regulus went one step further and firmly placed his hand over Sirius’s mouth. They turned their attention to Thalira, and she grinned her toothy grin as she placed her hand back on Moony’s neck.
“Good,” she purred.

A very good run tonight, had a surprising amount of energy, maybe the shoes I was wearing. 8 miles through the neighborhood, then picked up the pace significantly a half mile before the park, then 2 miles in the park, and a half mile more of tempo pace. Wasn''t breathing too heavily, form stayed intact, and the strides lengthened. A great session just before the beginning of the trip.
John Barton

Mutate
Enhanced intuition (enhanced aiming), molecular density control (phasing, dimensional shifting, air and heat construct manipulation, vibration manipulation, sound manipulation, enhanced speed, teleportation), telekinesis, kinetic force manipulation, body manipulation (self duplication).
Born in a laboratory, John was created by combining the DNA samples of Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff, by the Echo Chamber, a branch of the Red Room created to recreate the success of the lost Black Widow. John was one of the four only survival subjects. Trained and conditioned similarly to a Red Room operatative, John began to 'act' at the age of nine, his powers used to infiltrate and recover information that eventually ended in the hands of HYDRA. At the age of 11 though he was found dormant in the building, when his template parents with the aid of Steve went to destroy remnants of HYDRA's facilities, unawarely leading to the Echo Chamber. He was taken to safety but kept secret from SHIELD due to Natasha's fear of prolonging the victimhood of the kid, Clint decides to take a stop, and watch over the kid, which leads to him not being around when HYDRA's mask falls as the ones handling SHIELD. When John was functional, Clint returned to the field, albeit watching over him having left him alone at home. Studies conducted by Tony revealed his connection to both Clint and Natasha, and Clint decided to legally adopt him while Tony included him in the census. When Clint was captured by the government for his involvement against the act of registration, John rescued his found father and everyone inside with the exception of the only one with legal obligations. Due to the secrecy of the location, he remained at home with Clint and Natasha, while continuing his training. He joined Phil's SHIELD after the Blip, when lives were restored, coinciding with Clint's retirement. Although the blip affected his on a DNA level, allowing him to be able to perceive and travel through the multiverse, among other enhancements.
He is an expert combatant, spy and assassin even though he doesn't kill unless extremely necessary. He is smart and quick at reacting. He is a quick learner. He's an expert hacker.
