Ok so I am still a bit on a FFVII and Crisis Core kick and I am baking cookies with my friend so I am thinking of like
Sephiroth mixes his cookie ingredients with the utmost precision and he indeed makes fairly perfect cookies, but there's something off about them and although they are delicious nobody is really sure what the deal with them is. Sephiroth doesn't notice anything wrong with them, though, and neither does Hojo.
Infuriated by Sephiroth's cookie success, Genesis goes off for half an hour in search for the best cookie ingredients and resentfully makes a batch of his own. He finishes them with some kind of flaming cherries using Materia, and while they are delicious everybody is afraid to ask him if any of this was really necessary because it's a bit over-much.
Angeal just ignores all of this nonsense and uses his mother's cookie recipe and makes perfectly serviceable cookies that remind everybody of their grandma. His are eaten the most because they are the least intimidating and most approachable of the cookies.
Zack begins making cookies and thinks that the recipe needs a bit more excitement so he just starts adding a billion chocolate chips of every kind of chocolate, peanut butter chunks, nuts, sprinkles, candy clusters and other things. They come out absolutely hideous and everybody is skeptical of them, but upon biting into them they actually are the most delicious cookies of the bunch and everybody stops what they are doing to get one. Angeal is proud, Genesis is livid, and Sephiroth either doesn't care or he's stunned slightly from the sugar content of Zack's cookies and retreats to just eat some rations instead because that's what he's used to.
For some reason, Hojo is incredibly angry that everybody stopped eating Sephiroth's cookies. The Turks pick up the cue and silently dispose of the batch by incinerating them and then embedded the ashes in a lump of concrete.
For some reason the flames were a sickly green and the sludge ate through an inch of cement before they sealed the whole mess in an armor-grade steel capsule.
