Día de los Muertos Cookie Kit
I saw this cool hack online and of course if it is on the internet it must be true! So I got my M&Ms and tried to paint on my Día de los Muertos iced cookies. The kit, as seen below, came with its own paint palette, but when that runs out it would be nice to have options.
The kit was easy enough to follow add butter, egg and water to the mix and a skull shaped cookie cutter is provided. The icing was similarly simple! Add water to the icing mix, then add powdered sugar as needed.
I went with a My Little Pony gen 4 as suggested by mom. Rainbow dash (left), my dad’s favorite pony, and done with the M&Ms. Twilight Sparkle (right), my favorite, was done in the provided paint as it came with purple.
Overall the red was fairly comparable, but the green M&M especially was pretty pathetic. I wonder know though if this would work with Skittles, then I could paint the rainbow!
