CRK THEORY FOR THE NEXT UPDATE REGARDING THE MOLD COOKIES AND DARK ENCHANTESS'S METHODS

Since we have the info of them having dragontongue magic and being connected to dark enchantress....

This feels like a natural connection :>

Being left in wait for so long, made with God knows what ingredients and kept in unknown containment- it's natural a cookie could grow moldy in the right conditions

Say they're kept somewhere in the witch's kitchen rather than on earthbread, or in one of the farther tucked away areas we maybe havent seen yet that's humid and wet- a cookie can very easily grow moldy if left in such places

Even more, say since they werent made directly with the witch's magic and rather dragontongue they dont have the same properties the normal cookies have that keep them from going bad- leading to them becoming moldy and reaching their expiration date. The expiration time for a cookie is about 2 weeks or so, and we dont know exactly when these guys were made, they could be years beyond their expiration dates by now and without direct witches magic eventually just crumble naturally as the ingredients making them grow worse and worse.

On the other side of the spectrum, maybe dark enchantress *used* mold to make them, causing them to be as moldy as they are hoping for it to give them different properties. Maybe mold can take away a cookies sense of self control, leaving them vulnerable to DE's manipulations or commands.

So many possiblities....can you tell I'm a crazy theorist yet?

Wow, now that is something I’ve never thought about before. It’s never been implied whatsoever that Cinnamon and Blackberry are related in any sort of way. But that is a neat family head canon! I hope to see it more!

Oh yeah, what is ur theory for the weirdness of land eight jules?

My thoughts on Land 8 correlate to my personal theory on Matcha and Dark Enchantress, so I’ll briefly explain that so you’ll understand (I will do a more in depth description on Matcha and DE if you want!).

Ok, so basically Dark Enchantress used to be a witch doctor, despite it never being accomplished in her village and considered to be dangerous work, and Matcha, after trying and failing to teach her sister natural medication, became a fortune teller. Enchantress had to sneak into the Witch’s home, which wasn’t too far off from her village, and study her ingredients to use them for her medications.

It all went smoothly for a few years, until she had gotten a fatal case from a child Cookie who needed immediate attention. She was under a lot of pressure and stress, and had accidentally grabbed the wrong ingredients from the Witch’s kitchen, Dark Crystal Jellies and Seer Tea Leaves.

She needed to quickly make sure the ingredients were safe to use, so she brewed three teas for both herself and Matcha. One with the Jellies, one with the Leaves, and one with both. Enchantress had drank the Dark Crystal Jelly tea, and Matcha had drank the Seer Tea Leaves tea. The side effects were not immediate, so they figured the ingredients were safe for the child, and gave them the third tea.

The next day, Enchantress and Matcha had been corrupted, and the child had become an extremely rare type of tree, that grew in the center of the village. The child had become a Tearful Willow, named for how it looks as if it was crying, and how it’s seeds fall like tears. The child still lived within the tree, and cried through it’s seeds. As you could’ve guessed, it had many to spare.

After both Matcha and Enchantress had run away from the village, and as the years passed, the village had been deserted, flooded, and the Tearful Willow had produced many many seeds, which all together grew into the Twisted Maze Grove. The Doughnut Ball Fairies inhabited the grove, along with several other creatures. And in the center of the grove, still, the child cries more seeds to feed the forest.

I know that was kind of deep, this was one of my favorite theories to make. I hope this was a good answer to your question Tara!

So, when Gingerbrave/Brave Cookie escaped the oven, he left several cookies who all looked like him behind. Are there copies of the same cookie running about? Do they fight on who gets to leave?

Ah, that’s a good point Anon.

I don’t think they’re all “Copies” of Brave, rather the Witch just baked a batch of Cookies that all looked very similar. Brave just so happened to be a little bit different.

Now hear me out of this, even if they’re molded differently, no matter what, all Cookies start off as babies. The oven is like a Cookie Nursery. When Brave was born, he accidentally discovered a way out, and many of the other baby Cookies followed him.

I don’t think Brave was the very first Cookie to find a way to escape the oven, as I believe he and Bright have a family, two parents that were baked before him and intended to adopt him (Since Bright was baked a little later, making her younger). So imagine the look on all these would-be parents faces when they see a tiny army of babies casually crawling out of a scolding oven.

As for the whole fighting on who gets to leave part, if course not! The adult Cookies always try to save every last one of the babies in the oven, no matter what. If babies do get left behind for a bit too long, but do get discovered, they are rushed to a hospital immediately.

I haven’t put too much thought into Brave or the Oven, so I had to think a bit on this one. That was an interesting question Anon, thank you!

do you have any theories aboyt devil cookie?

Devil doesn’t have much going for them, but I will see what I can do!

We know they’re is Angel’s sibling, as they’re made from the same batter, but Devil have two different back stories.

OB: “According to a trustworthy source, this Cookie is a product of Angel Cookie dough exposed to bat extracts and drops of carbonated soda.”

LINE: “A byproduct of Angel Cookie batter exposed to dark magic, he can see flying Spirit Jellies unknown to other Cookies.”

These are two extremely overlooked details that gives important information on their backstory. Starting with Ovenbreak, what was this “Trust worthy source”, and how true really is it? I honestly cannot say for sure, but this could potentially mean Devil’s entire backstory is completely false.

Another overlooked detail is their “Ultrasonic powers”, which enables Devil to see Spectral Jellies, which are basically spirits. Devil can basically see the dead, which considering the fact they’re a child, is kind of spooky, both for us and for them as well.

Now for the LINE description. They were originally intended to be (an) Angel Cookie, but was exposed to dark magic and became Devil Cookie instead. Perhaps afterwards the Witch tried again, and produced the Angel we see in the game now. And I said earlier, Angel and Devil are siblings due to them being baked from the same batter, so if Devil was originally meant to be Angel, that makes them the older of the two.

Every so often I convince myself I really like cookies and I will die if I don’t bake cookies in the next 7 days. And I don’t even like them that much after I’ve made them. Why is this?

There are only two types of people in the world: hard cookie people and soft cookie people. Neither will concede to the other. There is very little common ground between the two groups and those who falls on opposing sides of the line will find strife between each other. Yet the two must exist in tandem.
