HOT TUNE - Music Diet week 19 (Track 2/5)

Die Antwoord - Cookie Thumper!: South Africa's Die Antwoord released its third album, 'Donker Mag'. About a year ago 'Cookie Thumper!' was released as a single, and predictably.. the accompanying music video caused a bit of a stir. Fortunately, the longer these guys are around, the more people take a few minutes investigating, realising things aren't quite what they seem. Although this song delivers a similar sucker punch both thematically and production-wise, the rest of the album isn't quite as impressive as its predecessor, 'TEN$ION'. The handful of interludes (I'm not sure what else to call them) don't always add value, rather they break any possible spell.
