https://www. buzzfeed .com/jesseszewczyk/buzzfeed-foods-best-chocolate-chip-cookie-guide this might help you with your cookies!! It shows what changing the ingredients does in the recipe, so you might be able to find the way to get the cookies you want by looking at this!
Thank you so much!!! I did watch the video where they tried all different combinations of ingredients! by the way they were really good and chewy, i think butter made all the difference this time! i'm just pick about the shape hahahaha
“YoU’rE eRaSiNg ThE cOoKiE’s GeNdEr!”
TW: Cringe
It hurt too much to read his complaining so I had to stop before they whine about a cookie’s gender some more.
Not a whole lot makes me cringe. This did..

Quinn, your damned fondling ruined our cookie scene!!!! How could you?! LOL!
Impeach Quinn!

I think Quinns response to Carries little lecture, and she suggesting to call Max, "I dont need a babysitter" is quite cool, and he is not very ashamed of himself and his slow hands IMO, I think he is kind of irritated at her. But it is smth strange about that whole scene, both Carries lecture and his response about babysitter is a little "off". And its very strange that HL originally would have the cookie scene in between somewhere, it just doesnt fit at all into gloomy vibes of 6.03.
The cookie scene was at the end of the episode. But I agree that it didn’t fit in with the tone of the episode. I think they made the right call, as much as I wanted to see it 💁
1/ I think what no cookie/no kitchen table anon is saying is that it seems unlikely that they have time to set up for the second kitchen table scene that is supposed to happen in the next episode, as it seems too much ground to cover within one episode. I'm not saying I agree, but it did cross my mind. However it does seem that this has implications for future episodes as well, possibly. I don't know many spoilers past next week, but I could see how domestic bliss is not going to happen...
2/ I’m actually not sure I want domestic bliss, as it might be overkill, and I kind of had a feeling those kitchen scenes were props and not going to happen (like the scene of Carrie and Otto in S5 on the porch). But I would like to not see just badness, with Q disrupting their happy home. They could do it well, if they try.
Hmm, I don’t see all these dreadful implications that you guys see. They cut one scene at the end of 6x03 and replaced it with a scene in 6x04. Not sure what the big deal is.
As to “domestic bliss,” if anyone is watching this season expecting “domestic bliss” or even “glimmers of domestic bliss” in more than two or three scenes, your expectations are way off. Time to take a reality check and remember the show you are watching. Domestic bliss is never going to happen on Homeland.
Do you think cutting the cookie scene for "ongoing story reasons" or whatever means that they are now backtracking on the importance of the Q/F relationship? It sounded initially from previews, interviews, etc that we were going to get some quality Q/F interaction but now it doesn't seem like it's going to be emphasized. Thoughts?
Anonymous 2 said to wthomeland: Kind of worried that they cut the cookie scene for “ongoing story reasons”- they change their minds at the last minute so often making this show. Maybe they wanted Carrie and Quinn together but are now having second thoughts- they don’t feel the need to have Quinn get to know Franny anymore.
Hi anons, there was a third ask along the same lines that has disappeared from our inbox. So sorry, Third Anon. That’s the second time that happens today; I’m not sure what’s going on.
In any case, guys, please stop finding random things to worry about. It is not healthy - LOL.
It is a deleted scene and we will never know why it was deleted, but there is no reason to read so much into it. Not every single decision Homeland makes must mean that Quarrie is doomed!
IMO the episode works better without that scene (which was most likely towards the end). The purpose of the ONLY Quarrie scene we got in 6x03 was to build up the sexual tension between CQ – leaving it unresolved heightens the tension. Following it up with a cutesie family scene would diminish some of the sexiness in favor of domesticity. Probably not what the episode’s going for. There’s another kitchen family scene in 6x04 that I’m guessing was shot to replace the cookie scene.
In any case, I’m just speculating, because - again - we will never know.
But stop fretting, Anons, they’re not making such huge story decisions in the editing room. Quarriefam and Franny x Quinn are just as important to the season as ever. In fact, Franny is 100% a Quarrie prop at this point.
Trust the story, guys!
