This Garlic-Roasted Chicken recipe is a classic and flavorful way to prepare a whole chicken. The garlic-infused olive oil paste gives the chicken a delicious aroma and a crispy golden skin, while the blend of herbs adds depth of flavor.
Ingredients: 1 whole chicken, about 3 to 4 pounds. 6 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 teaspoon dried rosemary.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary should all be mixed together in a small bowl to make a paste. Use paper towels to dry the chicken. Cover the chicken evenly with the garlic paste by rubbing it all over. Roast the chicken with the breast side facing up in a pan. Put the chicken in an oven that has already been heated for about an hour and fifteen minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh without touching the bone reads 165F 74C. After the chicken is done, take it out of the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Finally, cut it into pieces. Enjoy while hot!
