“Cool Original” is a lie.
Doritos in the UK come in 3 standard flavors: Nacho cheese, Chili heatwave, and “Cool Original” which is actually Cool Ranch covered in lies.
The actual original Doritos flavor was nacho cheese. Cool ranch was added in the 80s. Apparently, ranch flavor cannot be explained for foreigners, so they had to lie? In most countries they call it “Cool American” which is at least not deceptive. But the UK is fed crunchy bags of lies.
It is Cool Ranch. I don’t care what you call it.
