According to my gran when my uncles went to uni they didn't own any suits so whenever there was party they would raid the charity shops and buy themselves dresses (every single party). I really wish somebody took photos

hahaha I'm talking to my uncle about punk and stuff cool conversations about him growing up in queens and seeing the ramones all the time and then we started talking about newer stuff he mentioned wild flag and then he mentioned tomahawk chop and like fucking WHAT. he said he downloaded two songs and liked one more than the other but couldn't remember the song names or even how he discovered them in the first place but lol

So I just found out my uncle is awesome

So we're eating Easter dinner and talking about T.V. shows and whatever and I just kind of mumble under my breath I'm fine with my Doctor Who. So my uncle turns to me and is like Doctor who? Isn't doctor who so amazing and then we go on to talk about favorite episodes, doctors, ect. after the conversation stops and everyone's talking about something boring & I'm just sitting here playing with the gravy he turns to me and says "Amanda most important lesson ever; bow ties are cool." God why didn't I know this before?
