Is it kosher to eat a dish with both edamame and tofu in it?

Tofu is made from soy milk, and edamame is just another name for soybeans, so does it count under "cooking a calf in its mother's milk?"

My roomate poised this question after I made a dish for the other roommate. I can't stop thinking about it, and my head hurts.

sit down, sit down it’s nice to see you are your classes going well? i’ll have what you’re having tell me again how you want to change the world pull out your soap box and get angry about the way things are yours is the kindest anger i’ve ever known please stop apologizing for the fire in your eyes and for the passion in your veins. i could listen to you monologue until the food is cold and the restaurant is empty and still i’d ask for more. it’s always baffled me how you can be so steadfast yet so unsure berating and backtracking in the same breath rattling off a list of every problem sewn into the system then moving on to mini golf like you’re trying to make up for something. please keep talking dinner tastes better with a side of rebellion --r.a.b. I can't lie, at first my world had stopped,

This medium rare is a bit too much,

Maybe another round before dessert to reminisce.

Wandering the streets in Spring beer in hand,

Reminding me of times we loved and shared,

The laughter always drowned away the pain.

I'll never forget those moments by the ocean,

Watching the sunrise with you in my arms,

Glad you've found someone to hold you tight.

Something sweet to wind us down,

Some things have changed, others remain,

I see your youngest is starting school soon.

I'm glad you still enjoy your cup of coffee,

Glad you aren't afraid to enjoy it late,

Which means it's time for us to part ways.

It's good to see you, once again,

Glad your life is going better than planned,

So glad we got a chance to say hello.

Dinner was more than I had hoped for.

I tell you I was nervous walking through that door,

But, I'm glad I came and saw your face.

Work will probably keep you busy,

I know you life has got you spinning,

Though I'm glad you won't ever be alone.

May all your life's expectations keep on bringing,

All of the dreams you've wanted and are living,
