So I just finished Unravel and let me say... this game is an experience. So many thoughts went through my head playing this game. Because not only did I think of the puzzles but of what the game really was. The atmosphere and the setting just made me feel so very home. And extremely nostalgic. I come from Sweden where I'm guessing the game is set and they've just got everything so... Swedish. I play the game and I think about my grandparents and my parents and my childhood friends and how everything was all sunshine and happiness when I was a kid. The game slowly turned darker and more difficult and it's just exactly how my life has been. See I was stuck on one of the later levels for some time and it frustrated me so that I couldn't get past that part. In the end I did and the way they convey story in this game just made me tear up. I'm still in tears as I type this because I think I understand what the game is about. At least for me. It's about life and how life progresses. It's not always going to be an idyllic summer in a field of flowers it's going to be cold and stormy and things are going to be hard. You're going to lose things and people on the way. You're going to get hurt and heart broken and you might even lose yourself but in the end there will be something good waiting for you. Summer comes again. Truly an amazing game that in my opinion had one of the best methods of conveying a story line to the player. They've outdone themselves with music, visuals and an incredible atmosphere. It feels real and it makes you happy, sad, worried and frustrated as it should. I highly recommend picking up the game if you have chance. Clever puzzles, an interesting story and one of the coolest concepts I've seen in a while. Thank you, Coolwood for creating a game that really moved me.
