so I have a couple questions! If you don’t mind 😅 What are your favorite things about Slider? How about Coop? who are Slider’s favorite/safe people? What people does he feel unsafe around? (Same for coop haha) Do either of our lovely traumatized boys have any triggers?

I love how much Slider loves his friends. He's willing to put aside his own happiness for them. And I don't think it's just because it's the greater good. When he first met the Cybersquad, he refused to help them at first until his own personal reasons came to light, AKA Hacker being behind it. Later, he ends up searching for the encryptor chip at the risk of prolonging his search for Coop. He's honestly got a big heart.

Coop does not have a lot of content :') But I love how he's both a skater and scientist. He's no dummy and combines being a cool jock, with being tech savvy. It's honestly a cool combo and most likely why Hacker first agreed to partner with him, cool and smart with great hair? What's not to love?

Slider definitely feels safest when he's with his family, Coop, Betty, and Savannah, or the Cybersquad. Coop definitely feels safest when he's home with Slider, Betty, and Savannah. Getting squished on the couch for movie night is a very nice feeling after being alone for so many years, for the both of them.

Both of them tense up at the mention of Hacker, let alone feel unsafe around him. There's too much bad blood, and they're not about it. The same goes for any people connected to Hacker. He's a big no thanks for them.

I wouldn't say they have triggers, as much as they just have trauma. Slider suffers from pretty vivid nightmares, and the only way he's able to fall back asleep is by walking through his home with the metal baseball bat he keeps at his bedside and checking that all the doors and windows are locked and that Coop is safe in bed. Coop suffers from a lot of health issues due to the Magnitite, but besides that, he finds he gets fidgety and nervous if he hasn't seen Slider in a while. He also keeps way too many useless things because on Discardi, you never knew when something would come in handy. They both take care of each other, though, and get through the day.

When he was a child, what did Coop want to be when he grew up?

E V E R Y T H I N G.

Coop went with his mother all over Cyberspace and was an extremely extroverted child before he mellowed out later in life. He was always exploring and meeting new people! One day, you'd ask him what he wanted to be, and he'd say a knight because he had just been on Happily Ever After. The next day, he would claim that being a DJ was his future because he was going to party with the pack on Castleblanca. He even wanted to be some Earth jobs from different ads and garbage he'd find on discardia while helping his mother find useful parts for repairs.

What games did Coop play as a child?

Coop got to travel all over Cyberspace as a child because his mother would bring him with during all her jobs. Typically, he would go exploring. He was a very friendly, if not an over excitable child. He loved to make new friends and join in whatever customs or games the locals were into! He also loved building and fixing things up with his mom, who taught him how to build in the first place! Usually Coop would return to his Mom's side by the end of the day with mud splashes, leaves in his hair, ripped clothes, and a giant smile.

Coop: Maybe one or two...

“Haven’t seen ‘em” (Slider hiding one not a cat cat, Morgana?)

Slider picked up the finicky cat and chuckled, scratching behind their ears. "Hey kitty kitty, you hungry? I've got some food for ya! Kickflip can share this once." He chuckled carrying the cat into the house and then his room and closing the door before setting them down. Pulling out a bag of cat food, Slider poured a bowl for Morgana who sniffed it with distain.

It was then that Slider heard the front door open and his eyes widened in alarm. "Ohhh no. I'm not supposed to have the animals inside, uh can you like- hide under my bed kitty?" He asked Morgana desperately to which they suddenly seemed very interested in the food and not hiding at all. Slider let out a groan before hearing his name called out by his father, coop. "Coming!" He jumped up and pointed at Morgana with a desperate look. "Please stay quiet, please?" Before closing the door behind him and facing his father who was already giving him a bemused smile.

Coop looked from Slider to the door behind his son that Slider was holding closed and raised an eyebrow. It didn't help that at that moment Morgana decided that they would not be told what to do by a thirteen year old, and stuck their paw under the door and start yowling. Wincing slightly, Slider shot his father a guilt smile.

Crossing his arms and giving Slider an amused look he chuckled. "Slider? Are you perhaps hiding a cat in there despite knowing you should not be doing that?" He raised an eyebrow and gave him a look.

Slider winced before making a face despite the yowls coming from behind his door. "Nooooo.... What? A cat? Haven't seen... Any cats around um.. around here! Heh..." He failed at lying.

Coop now looked rather unimpressed and pointing at the kitty foot swiping under the door. Slider glanced down and winced again. "Ohhhh THAT cat! I uh- ugh. Please can I keep them? Just for a little?" He would try to beg his father with a smile but ten minutes later Morgana was released to do as they please outside.

A cruel smile forms on Coop's face. "Wouldn't you? I'm a single parent who's stuck with the brat. Can you blame me for trying to escape? Even a sad, boring life on a trash planet was better than this." He shakes his head.
