In the USA (and some other countries), November is COPD Awareness Month and Epilepsy Awareness Month, and on the 14th, its World Diabetes Day, so...

I'll be making some extra posts about these conditions throughout November but I would love YOUR input! Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) 🫁

COPD is sometimes called #emphysema or #chronicbronchitis.

Emphysema is a type of COPD that damages the walls between the air sacs in the #lungs.

Chronic bronchitis is a type of COPD that causes inflammation and scarring of the bronchi, which are the large air passages.
