#coping with school

I would like to say/admit that I did in fact just write an analysis & comparison of I Want More from Grease: Rise Of The Pink Ladies and Before It’s Over from Dogfight and I did in fact submit it to my English teacher because dang it if I have free will I am going to exercise that free will. 😭😭

(I’m doing a poetry until and the assignment said pick two poems or songs with similar topics and compare & contrast them. If I can talk about two of my obsessions in my school work you best bet I will. Hopefully I don’t fail… 💀)

Oops. I gave myself an hour to finish this English assignment, and I had the whole chart part of it done before then, so once my hour timer went off, I turned it off and then decided to give myself a shortttt break before I finished the second part of the assignment, which is just a reflection paragraph. I hate reflection paragraphs, so naturally this short break has been nearly half an hour of scrolling on tumblr. OKAY GOODBYE I MUST GO BEFORE IT HITS AN ACTUAL HALF HOUR.

(Tumblr will still be here when I finish the paragraph 😭 I must remember that).

Autumn Blog: Day 1

Today's topic: Coping with School

So every year we go back to school, and sometimes people are excited, and some people are miserable, and some people are up at midnight doing the assignment that we had 2 months to complete. But I think the weird part of the year is right after the first month. You have either come to terms that you have to wake up at 6 AM, or gotten off of your I AM GOING TO MEET SO MANY PEOPLE high and now you are just like... bored. So wanted to think about ways in which I ,myself, could brighten up my day. So here are my 5 ways to brighten up a lousy day:

1. Find a new song EVERY day.

2. Find a quote that makes you smile EVERY day.

3. Excercise EVERY DAY

4. Read a new book EVERY month

5. Write a long and boring blog EVERY day that attracts no attention but gives you a sense of therepy and worth in life.
