Weighing in at 3.2 kilos over 7 pounds, this casserole dish is ideally suited to a great cook! The interior is lined and shows lots of use and wear both in the pan and on the lid but it is entirely fit for purpose.

It comes with a heavy lid that fits perfectly which is what you would expect from a professional expertly made utensil. It has been used so is now ready to go and will be the one pan that wont let you down.

This is your one 'go to' pan.

The cast iron handles handles are ergonomically designed and perfectly smooth secured by steel rivets. There are surface scratches and slight marks over the body sustained through authentic use in a French restaurant kitchen.

The interior is marked and used there is discolouration on the base and the lid - all wear from a restaurant kitchen.

There are no real faults with thsi casserole. You can use this on an oven top or in the oven - this is the most versatile of pans. If you can only treat yourself to one pan this is it!

It measures width 24 cms, 9 inches, it is 11.5 cms high about 4.5 inches.

The lid has a void within the two parts of the lid to ensure even cooking and will keep the heat in beautifully. Hot coals can also be placed on the top to ensure total all around heat. This design has been used since before the Revolution and is still made today.
