Hi guys, this isn't anything major, just something I'm curious about. I upgraded Poseidon Kara with emotites (thanks to your guide!), and it seems every unit gets special dialogue when they're upgraded (suggested by there being a new button in his gallery entry). Is it just the same for each brother or does every single unit get a unique one? I'd love to know what his says but I didn't wanna impose or anything.

Sorry for the delayed response! truthfully i kept forgetting to check in-game...

The dialogue there is a line by Angel Hatabou followed by what I assume is a line from the character. I honestly didn’t pay much attention to it before, but yes it seems to vary by character -- but not by unit, as far as I can tell.

I’ll probably need more testing to be sure on that; I’ve only shinied 2 Karas and a Choro. 

Sloppily translated, Kara’s (magical girl & magical girl awakened) says:

Hatabou: You’ve made it, jo. As your superior, I’ve decided to grant you the “Final Limit Break” jo. 

Kara?: I feel like the brightness/radiance of my eyes is different than before...

Let’s go into battle!

And Choro’s (osumatsu): 

Hatabou: The time has come, jo! ...That’s it, jo.

Choro?: It looks like my skin is shinier than it was before. Maybe it’s my imagination.

Let’s go into battle!

If it is just by character, maybe I’ll just add the translations to the guide when I collect them all? We’ll see.

Hey guys, not to be a pain, but do you know if/where there's a translation for the Musical AU event? I saw a post where Mod Ichi said she was working on it but then couldn't find any update on that ... sorry for the pressure! It's just one story I'm really curious about (especially since all hell breaks loose from what I've heard)

Sorry, I don’t think she ever finished it, otherwise it should be somewhere in our translation tag.

I’m sure if someone out there has posted a translation a link will find its way to the replies in this post, though. (by the way, thank you to those that help with that! Google only gets one so far)

I’d imagine they would be like this if they were successful and worked together more as a team (instead of being as selfish as they are in the anime). Its an AU after all - if they didn’t work as well together they wouldn’t ever be a hit band! I still think you made them charming and, well ... you can let this be a little indulgent! You’re right, honestly. I imagine that before they started the whole band thing, they were a lot closer to the guys we see in the show (without some of the modern conveniences, let’s say Totty’s hogging the phone in the hall all the time instead of on his cell phone). And to be honest, they know that people are watching, so they won’t always bring out their worst sides. They’ve learned a bit about PR.

I may lift the hood a bit more now and then to show some of the seedier stuff behind the scenes, but I don’t think I wanna get too raunchy or crass here. It just ain’t my style.

Hi, I can't remember whether I asked you this before or not, but do you know what style characters evolve into what? I've seen a bunch of images of individual outfits, but I don't know what becomes what, if that makes sense. Thank you for this blog (and posts on your own tumblr before you made this) by the way, it's a huge help!

I don’t have a lot of evolved characters,so I can’t list them all sadly! >_<) There’s a lot of images of evolved outfits of recent characters on the gacha page, but not all. You can also check around the mob puzzle 100 tag around tumblr and you might see some too! Sorry I can’t help much with this!

Saying this as someone who just hears about the show from others (I can't bring myself to do as much as bother with a single episode it's so unappealing) I'm a total sap & love romance done right, but what the hell, man? Giving any of the powerpuff girls love interests (that are taken SERIOUSLY) is beyond stupid to me. Maybe it's partially because I didn't have my first irl crush till I was 16, but I never quite understood kids having crushes. Just ... let them be kids.

Yeah, I’ve never watched the show because I have a burning desire for the girls to fall in love or have a love interest. All I wanna do is see them kick butt and fight crime! Gimme some fighting action! Even in the original, at least Buttercup developing a crush on Ace was a one time thing (it was mentioned again WAY later and only once at that). He got a brutal smackdown in the end for tricking her, and at least he had a personality and was an established villain.

"i wonder if they go to a place or its just their table at home?" Like artist-artists, a lot of mangaka rent other places to work from. At least, that's what I've read. In a way studios become a home away from home anyway, especially since some of them have beds. I know that Tezuka, Akatsuka-sensei, and some other classic manga artists all lived in one apartment complex to work together (which is getting rebuilt!), and I think Hiromu Arakawa's studio/apartment had beds in it?

Hi, just subscribed to your blog and channel, great stuff. :-D Just wanna say though, your tumblr theme does that thing where the more reblogs there are on a post, the more it stretches the replies thinner and thinner until it's impossible to read what's being said anymore. Could you please look into changing your theme to one that doesn't do that? Sorry for the trouble, and keep doing what you do!

oh, thank you! and yes, i’ll look into one. i changed it thinking this would be better but evidently not. finding good themes is hard. thanks for telling me though!
