Monstober Day 22: I didn't depict many of the subjects on this year's list with a lot of horror elements. That includes this creature, supposedly from French folklore, called the Coquecigrue. The only place I can link the creature to French folklore on English sites is a Final Fantasy page, where it's one of the creatures in the game. Otherwise, the word seems to mean absurd or sometimes a chimera. The only depiction I could find had it looking a lot like a peacock, with the only description saying that it looked like a mix of a heron, crane, and rooster, so I went with that and pulled some of the more disparate elements from each bird.
