The gang finds out “Shiro” is a clone prompting Keith to demand he goes on a rescue mission. Clone Shiro can still pilot Black so he’s not needed to form Voltron. No one will let him go alone though so Lotor offers to join the search with him. While trying to track down and save Shiro, Keith and Lotor develop a bond with each other neither of them expected. After finding out that “Shiro” is a clone and didn’t know it, Lance takes it upon himself to make him feel like part of Team Voltron, Shiro or not. When he starts having feelings for Kuron, he thinks it’s just his crush on Shiro, but he quickly learns otherwise. What happens when the real Shiro comes back and Lance has to deal with his feelings for both of them? (Shkurance)

Shiro is stuck in the astral, desperately trying- and failing- to get out. During his time there he learns that he can interact with other Shiros from different dimensions, including a darker version of himself named Kuro and a Swedish Shiro named Sven. (Shirocest)

Alfor scoffs at him.”We’ve lived this long, haven’t we? Now hush--I was saying, I was thinking it’s a lovely night, the longest day of the febe, and it would be a shame if the Lady of Virin returned home without receiving a proper tour of the castle…”

“You can’t be serious,” Coran replies. He doesn’t wait for Alfor to get a word in, just smirks and says, “Don’t move too fast, my friend, lest you scare her off.”

“I’m not moving too fast!” Alfor doesn’t...squawk, necessarily, but it’s a near thing. His eyebrows knit together. “...I’m not moving too fast, right? I mentioned it to her and she seemed to like the idea, but if--”

“Alfor, hush, if you think any harder you’ll hurt yourself.”

“But, just to clarify, I am moving at an acceptably average speed, correct?”

Laughing now, Coran nods. “As average as they come, your Highness.”

Alfor hides a relieved smile behind his glass. “You’re invited too, of course. Lest you get jealous of my new companion.”

And Coran does squawk, loudly enough to bother a few nearby guests. They’re used to the prince and his royal companion by now, and merely titter before moving away.

“I am not jealous--why would you even--you bloody scoundrel.”

Alfor is helpless to the deep belly laughs that shakes his whole being. Coran merely sniffs as he watches his royal laugh far too hard at his own silly joke. “Just shut up and sneak out so I can cover for you both.”
