he hasn't yet been here long enough to say he hates the place, per se, but he's not too far from it. back home? he never felt... well, clueless. here? christ, he can hardly do the work. maths had always been far from his favourite subject, but here, for now it was practically the only thing he good do. it was international. a language that he could at least trust not to change wherever in the world he was. whosoever he was with.
