My Core 2020 social media preview. Enjoy!
Magic: the Gathering - Core Set 2020 Previews
Via Gizmodo : There are to be FOUR different Chandra Planeswalker cards tied to Core Set 2020
• Chandra, Novice Pyromancer, illustrated by Anna Steinbauer Shown as having recently arrived on Ravnica showing off her skills
• Chandra, Acolyte of Flame, illustrated by Anna Steinbauer Shown as a student of the Regathan pyromancers
• Chandra, Awakened Inferno, illustrated by Chris Rahn Shown as a a calm and confident pyromancer fully in control of a very dangerous and almost wild amount of fire
Awwwwwwww yeah. This card? This card right here? This is my kind of stupid. I love it. (Also, I like the flavor text.)
Not for every Black deck, of course, but I think I’ll try it out in my “group slug” decks like Mathas and Karona. Sometimes it’s fun to give stuff to your opponents!
Omnath, Commander Of Elementals
Omnath is already great with a land recursion theme, but powering up your elementals could make this great. Shared Animosity also helps if doing this aggressive tribal build that doesn’t mind losing creatures.
Some amazingly pretty and very limited playable vampires!
Segovia
Segovia is a unique plane in the Multiverse. It is the smallest plane in the Multiverse being around 400km in total area.
The plane is roughly 1:100 scale to the average size of Planes. Visiting walkers are automatically shrunk down and anything summoned there will shrink as well. However any summons obtained there will not grow when summoned on other Planes.
Leviathans are the largest living thing on the world, but they are about the size of Dominarian Elephants. As for scale to other Segovian life forms, those are roughly 60ft (20m) long whales in the depiction.
Segovia is also mostly aquatic in nature. They do have some of the best arenas and sports in the multiverse. Check them out if you want the multiverse’s greatest entertainment in the palm of your hand.
-Umbral, the Archivist
I want to alter this card to look like my two doggos.
I don’t plan to play it - I just want it.
Zombie dinosaur!!!
Not bad if reanimation can work...
