Fire at Corella Dam
We paused between Winton and Cloncurry at a roadside park over. Not too many trucks during the night (or we slept through them). Today we bought a double pass to the Cloncurry Museum- really interesting with Burke and Wills ( the explorers who opened the Outback) as well as interesting mineral and rock collections. The Royal Flying Doctor Service left on it's Maiden voyage from Cloncurry. We enjoyed our exploration of the town. We had a little hiccup getting a stone chip off a road train on our way into McKinley yesterday. Geoff Sellotaped it so none of the fine bull dust would get in.
