Groaning in pain, you roll around on the floor, hands tightly clutching your chest where a blossoming wound slowly seeped blood.
You had gone to Eichen House with the rest of the McCall pack to rescue Lydia. The plan had gone almost without a hitch, until Theo and his pack had also turned up.
Being a werewolf, you knew it would heal soon, but that hadn't stopped Corey from panicking and subsequently abandoning his Alpha to try and help you.
Theo's claws had sliced deep and long gashes across your ribcage. Getting injured on a pack mission was nothing new to you, and you were more than thankful that wolfsbane hadn't been involved.
"Y/N, are you going to be okay?" he asked worried.
Grunting at the lack of healing, you replied, "I'll be fine. But, I'm gonna need you to break my arm to trigger my healing."
With great reluctance, your boyfriend stepped closer to you and snapped your arm upwards, a sickening crack echoing through the air.
"Oh my God, Y/N!" he gasped, relieved when your skin began to knit back together, blood trickling up your chest and back into the closing wound.
"Thanks, Cor," you smiled sweetly at him as he stroked your hair gently, pulling you into his chest.
"I hate doing that so much." he apologised profusely, "I wish I could take your pain, but I'm just a stupid chimera that can't even..."
Your lips connecting with his silenced his rant. When you pulled away, a light blush tinged his cheeks.
"I'm never going to get used to that." he confessed.
"Good, because I have intentions of hanging around for a long time. And I don't care that you're a chimera, because you're perfect to me, just the way you are."
