Corinth is the crown prince of Glaceia and commander of the Glaceian army. With his good looks, charisma and an exceptional swordsmanship, to many, he is the ideal prince Glaceia needs. However, to others he is just an upstart of the backwards Selwyn house. With confidence that borders narcissism, Corinth isn’t shy about flaunting his abilities to everyone around him. He enjoys playing the piano and spends his evenings with his beloved cat, Moonlight.

The reason I build up the Selwyn legends in such details is so that this boy can have a storybook hero to look up to. Meet young Corinth, an adoring fan of Damir the Dragonslayer!

Week 1: Family — Corinth Selwyn

Wip: Project Nightshade (wip intro here)

Name: Vladislav Selwyn

Relation to Corinth: Father

Vladislav is the head of the Selwyn house, and governs over Selwyn land. With his keen intellect, self-serving ambitions and formidable power to foresee possible futures, Vladislav is a force to be reckoned with among the other noble houses. Having lost his wife, Vladislav is a single father to Corinth and Edessa. He has grand plans for his children, and would go to great lengths to accomplish them.

Name: Edessa Selwyn

Relation to Corinth: Elder Sister

Edessa is the heir to the Selwyn house, and possess the magical ability to turn invisible at will. A strong and capable leader, she oversees domestic affairs in the land of Selwyn, such as farming and crystal mining. Edessa enjoys hiking in the woods on weekends — a well-deserved break from her busy schedule

Name: Henri Selwyn

Relation to Corinth: Brother-in-law

A shapeshifter loyal to the Selwyn house, Henri serves as a messenger and spy for Vladislav Selwyn. Once Henri has seen a bird species, he can easily take their form. Happily married to Edessa, Henri enjoys catnapping in her lap— as a pigeon.

I was going to write a drabble based on the prompt but I wasn’t satisfied with what I wrote, so I made a short intro for Corinth’s family members instead! I even threw together some moodboards haha
