My last gift for the gift exchange is for @charlilil !! I don't think I've ever drawn these boys but I know you like em and thought it was a good excuse to draw Dave and Mac bonding. :)) they are so stupid, I love them.

(Almost) Every Murph PC OCD Headcanons:

Riz - checking and checking and checking and checking and checking again, paranoia, counts everything he does in multiples of a specific number, social phobia, touch averse, violent intrusive thoughts, writes in pen bc if he uses a pencil he will re-write everything 40 million times until its perfect but it will never be perfect, policing others

Maxwell - anything to do with pregnancy or sex sets him on edge (hes trans), magical thinking, misophonia, completes tasks very slowly out of fear of making a mistake (his brothers make fun of him for this), moral absolutism, somatic symmetry obsession to the point that he's worked out for 4 hours straight bc he couldn't get both his arms to measure the same sensory input

Zudrick - somatic checking, death rumination, derealization, symmetry obsession, magical thinking, violent intrusive thoughts

Mac - frequent confessions (sidebars), obsessive need for reassurance (sidebars), chronic problem-solver (sidebars)

Barry - depersonalization (being a clone really messes with your sense of self), death rumination, used to do everything in multiples of 6 but switched to 9 after The Incident, violent intrusive thoughts / fear of hurting others

Cody - misophonia, violent intrusive thoughts, touch averse, policing others

Jens - his compulsions are mostly mental so people don't always realize anything is wrong (repetition, somatic checking bc he always thinks he's dying), policing others, touch starved and averse

Gerard - depersonalization; cant always remember that he was ever human, policing others, somatic delusions

Theo - contamination of all varieties, symmetry obsession, without rules and structure he falls apart, fear of harming others, death rumination (losing Lazuli really fucked him up), policing others, moral absolutism

Had a really funny snippet of a dream so I'm expanding on it: Murph con. (mixed d20 and naddpod)

Cody and Maxwell "befriending" each other by very very awkwardly sitting at the same table in the corner too unsure to do social interaction rn but they're both SO pensive and look visibly distraught and then Kugrash with his high insight (not Mac because it's Mac) (not Riz because Riz saw Frankie and is excitedly discussing work with him. Frankie respects his competence and work ethic, especially because he's like seventeen. they're the only people having a GREAT time) clocks that Max is staring at Barry and Cody is staring at Zudrick and they're both desperately trying to keep it in their pants. They have somehow telepathically communicated that they're suffering from the same ailment and formed a brotherly bond. The ailment in question being "oh no that guy is so hot but i'm scared and autistic I need to stay far away before I embarrass myself".

Zudrick starts out gravitating towards Theobald and they both silently stand there doing stoic knight for like. A good thirty minutes. But Theobald is actually cool and Zudrick is a fucking loser so he gets antsy and eventually Cody does talk to him. Reminder that Cody is older than him, btw. Anyway they talk really excitedly about huge swords and how cool and edgy his crows are. They're almost the same guy which is funny and means they either end the evening fucking hating each other or making out (armor stays ON) and I honestly cannot tell you which one it is.

Anyway Jens is disgusted by everyone here except Maxwell at first because Maxwell looks like a rich person and is like. Hot. So he tries to suck up to him until he realises his family is actually broke rn also the sucking up didn't work in the first place because I think Jens is exactly the kind of guy Maxwell cannot stand lmao. They start arguing. like they get into it with polite upper class backhandedness it's scary honestly. Everyone else is uncomfortable bc they keep getting louder someone has to break them up.

I guess maybe Jens would fuck with Gerard?? Depends on whether this is frog man Gerard (absolutely not) or hot prince Gerard (Jens is trying to get into his pants). If it's frog man Gerard Kugrash would maybe like talking to him? They could bond over being cursed to be a gross little guy.

Mac wouldn't be as douchey as usual w/o his boys so I actually think Kugrash would like him enough. Also Mac and Barry would get along. Maybe just because Barry would drink whatever weird brew Mac pulls up with and then yell abt how awesome it was. Mac and Cody would somehow get into it though. Like, as soon as one of them gets aggro over a failed joke or miscommunication it's over.

I think this entire concept is so funny because almost all of Murph's guys are introverted and socially inept. The only two who aren't are Barry who's loud and stupid and will therefore alienate half of this room and Jens who's an asshole.

Emily con would also be funny but it'd kinda just be lesbian orgy (like. come on.) while Fig and Jet play with Ylfa outside so idk what to say to that
