What is the comorbidity between Anxiety Disorders and ASPD like? I'm a clusterfuck of violent urges, but i'm also fucking terrified of basically everything, including other people with ASPD and it's ridiculous and kind of embarassing, to say the least. It's like i'm a deer in the headlights, except the headlights are other people and the deer is holding a chainsaw and the determination to slay.

from what i understand, the cormorbidity is extremely high. it’s listed as a thing beneath the official diagnosis. things that can coincide with ASPD include

ADD

anxiety

depression

OCD

BPD/bipolar disorder

histrionic personality disorder

paranoia disorders

narcissistic personality disorder

impulse control disorders

substance related disorders

and many more

part of what helped my therapist so many years ago figure out the ASPD thing was i have ADD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and other problems. like she thought it was impossible for one person to have all these mental problems and did some digging. the middle point where all these met was ASPD

so basically welcome to hell. i highly recommend treating everything you possibly can which makes ASPD much easier to deal with. seriously, its a horrible bitch
