Some concept sketches for a Cornel box, that I made in highschool.
Seven of Pentacles (Count Zero, 1986) Upright Keywords: harvest, rewards, results, growth, progress, perseverance, patience, planning Reversed Keywords: unfinished work, procrastination, low effort, waste, lack of growth, setbacks, impatience, lack of reward
Virek hires Marly because he has obtained an artwork from an unknown artist and he wants to find more works in the same vein. The artist is known only as “the box maker” because the work has similarity to the boxes of Joseph Cornell. Marley is entranced by the placement of the objects, the tension of the spaces between them, the strangeness of the collection (bones, lace, circuit boards, a ball of clay) and is determined to meet the artist who could make something of such beauty, regardless of Virek’s intentions. Her quest leads her to the abandoned Freeside space station where she learns that the boxmaker is an AI and has a crisis of sorts about the meaning of art if it can be easily created at random by a being with no humanity. But the AI had larger plans with the artwork which resulted in the eventual downfall of Virek and restoration of balance. The moral? Take the (very) long view.

Yeah, It’s Me in 3D
So, my Cornell Box came out pretty good, but I’m not finished. I need to put a lot more tissue paper layers on walls. I want them to be a lot thicker and cover up the upholstery nails I used to hang the keys. The next one I make, probably won’t be this big though (this on was 2ft X 2ft).
P.S. I did hand make the tree. It’s aluminum because I was trying to save money.
P.P.S. Don’t make large tree out of aluminum. It’s way too soft and just barely supports itself.

I changed the box colors to red oxide because there was too much blue. I Also added the "floor".
I also started making word plates for the prototype.
