Not to treat Tumblr like a diary, but I was reading/writing/thinking today about the whole trope of can’t keep my hands off you and I have to touch them now just like platonically, not even sexually, like how am I supposed to exist in the same room as you and not touch you and I was like is that even real? Is that a real human emotion or is that dramatic movie writing? Like?????? Who knows.

And THEN my parents are like (with ZERO warning) “Hey, we just ordered food from your old restaurant, can you go pick it up.” So I’m walking inside and am suddenly struck like a truck that ...someone who matters to me... might be there. And because of this whole virus, I am supposed to not touch this person. And I literally said “How the fuck am I suppose to NOT do that” and BAM. THAT EMOTION IS REAL AND TRUE! Boom. Lesson learned. It is not dramatic movie writing. It’s a real human emotion for some people. 

I’m floored. That’s all.

Nintendo knew quarantine was bound to happen. Why else do you get a deserted island package from Tom Nook in the new Animal Crossing and they timed it so the release day is near the start of global quarantine!

Holy cow, how is it Friday again already?! Literally, I cannot keep track of time anymore. Anyways, how do you think Fili and Kili would be handling this quarantine business? I feel like Kili, at least, would be bouncing off the walls going stir crazy from day 1!

Neither of them would know what day it was either!!!

You’re so right, Kili would bounce off the walls. And that energy would just radiate through the house and onto everyone else, making everyone else jittery too. So Kili spends a lot of time outside. He goes places no one else would go, deep into the woods, out in the open fields, far away down the river. And just goes- climbing, hiking, jogging, running, walking, for HOURS. After the first few days, Fili decides to go with him instead of worrying what he’s up to after half the days go by and his brother is still out Mahal knows where. I very clearly see Fili getting lazy and laying in the field while Kili just runs back and forth like NEWMMMMMM ZOOOMMMMMM Hi Fili Bye Fili

However, I also think Kili can have really lazy days where all he eats are waffles for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack. Just syrup everywhere. Dirty dishes. Book open to the third page, resting right side down on his chest while he sleeps on the bed with his head falling off of it. SNORING.

This is where Fili comes in.

Fili has a schedule. A time to get up, a time to go to sleep, a time to eat, a time to exercise, a time to do chill activities like reading or some hobby he picked up during this time. He will combust  without a schedule. Fun part? Kili never lets him stick to it. He’s keeping Fili up late, they drink too much which ruins the entire next day because they’re hungover. But it also works the other way around where full days are spent by the river outside having fun or rainy days turn into chill days where all they do is read and bake waffles. It evens out because they have EACH OTHER SOB
