;_; I’m not that much of a bookbinder yet, WJ is probably the final product I’ll aim for in many attempts to make any kind of book of mine. It’ll probably turn out a bit crude too unless I get it professionally bound so I’m nervous about charging any kind of money for it - plus, I’d like it to be somewhat illustrated and I’m totally not an artist, so these are the main problems holding me back atm.But regardless, if I do make any bookbound copy of WJ (all text or with illustrations or not), you’ll be the first to know. This project is definitely simmering in my mind, trust me.

okay a headcanon about both Russel and 2D!

Russel is really, really important to 2D because he stands up for him when Murdoc goes too far, maybe it’s only subconsciously but 2D feels safer when Russel is in the house- but emotionally 2D is really important for Russel. Russel has a very rough past, and often he just needs to talk about what happened, to somehow process it and to have someone know what he’s going through. At first none of his bandmates seemed a good idea to share anything with. He didn’t want to burden the younger Noodle with this because she’s his daughter figure and she’s had her own dark past,  Murdoc is Murdoc and 2D didn’t seem like the type to have a deep meaningful conversation with. 

Until one evening 2D came to him, asking about Dell. Everyone had a general idea of where Dell came from so Russel told the short version of the story again, but 2D wasn’t satisfied. Maybe he’d taken a few less pills- or a few more, but Russel suddenly felt like 2D would listen to him without judging him or telling him how he should be feeling. So, he told his story, and 2D gave no meaningful advise and didn’t suddenly make everything better, but he nodded and the right moments and he was there. Nothing truly changed after that, but it’s the little things- 2D asking him if he’s okay after another shootings been on the news, 2D giving him space on the date of the day it happened, the knowledge that someone will listen when you want to talk.. It made life a little more bearable, and that meant a lot.

In Torn!AU, the bots were originally owned by a wealthy Frenchman. They were together happily for over 10 years there. But once their owner died, the owner’s children split them and sold them off. Guy ended up rescued by the theater owner, but Thomas got snatched by the head of an underground mech fighting ring.

Thomas also had his memory wiped. But that isn’t going to stop Guy from trying to run off with him.

As a note, unlike the college AU this isn’t just my repurposed main Guy. I rewrote this one’s personality entirely for this story. This one’s much more stereotypically masculine, with an ego to go for miles.

I have a couple chat logs/memories we did while they were still at the mansion that I might post later, so you can get a better look at their original dynamic and Thomas’ pre-wipe personality (to put it mildly, it was much softer than his new one). One of the snippets accidentally ended up as smut, but hey.

Apologies for not having a verses page up! I originally planned on getting it up today, but didn’t quite get a chance. Hopefully by tomorrow I will so there’s an easier to find description for these. }

while I was working far out in the mountains of Denali without connection to the outside world for a few months, we had this white board where guides would right quotes and I totally wrote quotes from Wanderjahre and your other stories and people totally loved them! *throws blanket over you* take care!
